But what does it mean to be a member of the NTT ?Oh well, it can mean a lot of things. But mainly you as a member of the NTT can put things into priority order as you see fit. As this is still quite a new team (this is the 2nd team at the moment) there is a lot new to be developed. So far we have concentrated on making quality Train the Trainer seminars (twice a year) and Train the Advanced seminar (once a year). In addition to this our other priority has been trying to create training culture in AIESEC in Finland by creating trainers pool & giving support & sessions in national seminars.
But maybe you're thinking you do not know enough of training/facilitation in order to become a NTT member?
Who would be suitable?Do not worry, you don't need to know everything about anything, the most important thing is that you have the willingness&eagerness for this job and truly want to train future AIESEC Finland trainers. Also what is very important for this job, is that you have the time for it & that you are able to work online a lot, since it's not often possible for NTT members to see face to face in other times than in seminars. If you are interested about being in NTT, but do not know about training/facilitation we still have our trainings this spring - TtT in Jyväskylä and TtAT in Tampere - which to participate, where'll you'll get all the information you need (and some more;).
For one thing, which I am not kidding I swear, it is a hellofalot fun!! Especially after a training once I see that participants have actually enjoyed as much as I did or learnt something new, it is really an empowering feeling to yourself as well! Sure working in NTT is not always just fun (especially when it comes down to writing outputs, which btw, I still swear I will deliver on one beautiful day;) but all learning comes through struggles & challenges. The best thing in this team -as in any other I suppose - is that you can always share with other team members what ever you're feeling. And enjoy the ride because the more you give the more you get!
But what is it like to be in the NTT?
Still thinking? Maybe, yes, definitely??!
